How It Started
Our story began in 2020 when Dylan asked Alexis to a high school dance. Shortly after, we started dating and haven't looked back since.

Growing Together
From cheering in Blacksburg at Virginia Tech, where we both graduated, to making the move to Charlotte, NC, we’ve taken on every milestone as a team. Along the way, our love for animals grew right alongside us. We adopted our beloved pup, Hank, and our two cats, Ozzie and Scout, while also fostering seven rescue animals together to help them find their forever homes.

The Next Chapter
Between traveling the world spanning seven countries so far and building our everyday life in Charlotte, every year has been an amazing adventure. We are so excited to step into this next chapter as husband and wife and can't wait to celebrate our special day with all of our favorite people!

Our Story

Our wedding will take place on Friday, May 21, 2027. We invite you to celebrate with us in paradise from Thursday to Sunday.

We have chosen to stay at Paradisus Cancún for our wedding. Our travel agent, Britney, is excited to help secure your reservation. Please click the Book Your Stay button to reserve your room at the resort.

Guests are kindly asked to book their own flights (the earlier, the better!). The best airport to fly into is Cancún International Airport (CUN).

The dress code for our wedding is Beach Semi-Formal. For the ladies, think summer dresses or skirts. For the gents, a light suit or dress shirt with trousers is ideal.

Having you join us for our destination wedding is truly the greatest gift of all! Please know that your presence and travel to celebrate with us is more than enough, and we do not expect any additional gifts.

However, if you would still like to contribute to our next adventure, we have created a honeymoon fund to help us make unforgettable memories on our trip.

Store your passport, electronics, prescription medications, cash, and any other valuables securely inside your in-room safe during your stay.

Use your in-room safe

Drink plenty of bottled water (tap water isn't recommended for drinking). Use a high-SPF sunscreen often, and pack a hat and sunglasses for extra protection.

Hydrate & use sunblock

One of the first things to check is your passport! If you need to apply or renew, do it as soon as possible to allow plenty of processing time before the wedding.

Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but due to space limitations and our goal of keeping our ceremony intimate, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows you to enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus-one?
To keep our celebration small and intimate with under 50 guests, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

What is an "unplugged" ceremony?
We want you to be fully present with us during our ceremony! We kindly ask that all phones, cameras, and devices be put away and silenced while we exchange our vows. We have hired an incredible professional photographer to capture every moment, and we will happily share those photos with everyone afterward. Once the ceremony ends and the reception begins, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!
